Don't tell me I didn't warn you
Red flags popping everywhere
I am your Rationality, I am You
I am here, there and everywhere
You've been warned this early
It's too toxic, too murky
You sure you want to let them pass?
And get blinded by some l/ass?
You've changed, yes
For the better, I applaud thee
Again, you've changed, yes
Also for the worse, I console thee
You learned to love.
To have someone, you yearn to have
You appreciated life.
Deep in love, there is less strife.
But you also let things go their way
Self-respect eaten little by little
You've trodden the other way
Where you get miserable little by little
We've set standards, do you remember?
A bookworm. A runner. A coffee lover.
There is more to this list
Than a person's mere gist.
They are pillars of peace.
Where you find solace and you meet.
Co-existence in such blissful peace
Halfway, is where you two meet.
So don't blame me later
When you've gone down deeper
Here I am telling you so
Get out or stay and suffer, lo!
